The latest hoofbeats around the barn

We miss you Heath!

Heath has completed his journey to Delaware!  His owner has kept us updated on his travels, and by all accounts, his trip went well!  We just received a quick video of him settling in at his temporary barn, and he looks great!  We miss him, but probably more missed by Kola, who became Heath's fast friend and buddy shortly after coming to the barn.  We hope you have a great life (and your owner too) in Delaware!

Welcome to the barn Pilot!

Pilot is a Welsh pony who joined our barn last month from another nearby barn. He has settled in great and is now sometimes used in our lesson program.  Welcome to the barn Pilot!

Halloween at the Barn was a success!

Thank you to everyone who came out to visit us on Halloween!  We had a huge turnout despite the massive snow dump we received.  Even though we had 20" of snowfall, we still managed to survive and make the event happen.  A big thank you to Crystal, her daughter Circe, Alisa, and her son Wyatt for helping us during the evening!  Unfortunately, we were so busy managing the event around the barn or performing traffic control that we could only get a few pictures.

Riding lessons waitlist

We know we have a growing waitlist for new students in our lesson program.  We continue to monitor our current student activity to determine when we may begin adding more students to our load.

We would like to remind everyone who boards or leases a horse at the barn to ensure you clean up after your horse after any activity.  This includes:

• Cleaning manure when you use the arena
• Cleaning manure when riding on or off the property
• Cleaning up after your horse after Vet or Farrier visits
• In short, if the mess happens while you are here or riding... clean up :)
